Montrose Doublet

The Montrose is a double-breasted jacket that fastens neatly across the body and so does not have any lapels. It is also the only only doublet not to have tashes (decorated flaps of fabric that hang from the base of the jacket). Instead it is cut at the waist to ensure the full length of the kilt and sporran is on show.
